Lander Center

CWC's Lander Center offers classrooms, computer labs and an Interactive Classroom Network (ICN) which is connected to the Main Campus in Riverton, approximately 25 miles away. College courses are offered in traditional and electronic format. Students can build academic and vocational skills, or develop new skills for advanced job opportunities.

The Lander Center also publishes a non-credit course schedule, (download Spring 2010 Schedule PDF) providing community opportunity in a broad range of topics from health to recreation and certification courses.

To view the Fall, Spring, or Summer schedule of credit courses, call 332-3394 for information or browse the online Schedule of Courses offered in Lander.

The Lander Center enables students to accomplish most of their college business at its 427 Main St. site for their convenience. The Lander course schedule includes General Education Requirement classes, as well as various academic courses which are scheduled each semester to address student needs. Students can take advantage of advising, placement testing, computer lab, and tutoring. It is possible to obtain an Associates Degree in General Studies at the Lander Center.

The Lander office is staffed by Pat Trautman and Mickey Douglas. Pat is the Distance Education and Lifelong Learning Coordinator for Lander and the Wind River Indian Reservation. Mickey Douglas is the Assistant Coordinator for Lander. Adult Basic Education and GED testing are also provided in the outreach centers. For more information in Lander, contact Pat Trautman.
