Start Up Institute
An intensive entrepreneurship program returns to Jackson this spring to help jump start aspiring entrepreneurs and to encourage Wyoming's economic growth and diversification.
Central Wyoming College and Silicon Couloir are partnering to offer the program that is designed to provide participants with the tools and skills that companies utilize to launch successful business ideas. The institute is a hands-on, experiential and practical course focused on helping individuals work on and launch their business ideas, said Central Wyoming College Start Up Institute Program Director Liza Millet.
2016 Spring dates: April 14, 2016 through June 16, 2016 T, W, Th 9am - 3pm
2016 Fall dates: October 4, 2016 through December 8, 2016 T, W, Th 9am - 3pm
Participants dedicate three full days per week to class time in addition to working through the ideas after class hours. Specifically, they will leave the program being able to:
Instructor Sandy Schultz Hessler, who teaches the program, brings a wealth of business and teaching experience to the front of the classroom. She has taught at Harvard, Tufts University and U. Miami Ohio and has been a successful entrepreneur and marketing professional. She states, "Creating the strong foundation for a business - that is the mission of the Start Up Institute. Everything we do develops the knowledge, the synergy and the support to help you build a successful business."
Enrollment is limited. Applications are welcome and encouraged from any location. Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. College credit is available from CWC.
