Library Services for Distance Students
If you are currently enrolled in a class at Central Wyoming College you have library privileges, whether or not you attend class on campus.
Many of our resources, including hundreds of databases, are online and accessible anywhere with your CWC username and password. Watch this video for an introduction:
Here are some more key resources to get you started:
Subject Guides - suggested databases and web resources on particular academic areas.
CWCLibrary on YouTube – a number of short video tutorials as well as full-length recordings of library workshops
Central Wyoming College Library on Facebook – Learn about library news, events, new resources and updates
Some electronic resources require a library card number and PIN. In order to activate privileges for these resources, you must fill out our online library card application. If you have had a library card here before, please let us know and we can re-activate it for you. If you have a CWC student identification card, your library number is preprinted on the back. It should be 14 digits long. If you do not have a card, please let us know and we will have a number assigned for you. When your library card is activated, call us to find out your PIN.
Your greatest library resource as a CWC student are your librarians! We are here to help you find the information you need, gain research and information literacy skills, learn to cite sources, and support you as a CWC student beyond the boundaries of time and place. Please call or email us with questions.
