The Sinks Canyon Center provides accommodations for successful, productive and relaxing retreats. Equipment available includes: LCD projector/screen, media cart with computer, DVD player, document camera and additional plug-ins for your own laptop computer and wireless internet. Tables and chairs can be configured to meet your individual needs. Retreat ideas include:
- Hosting company workshops and retreats away from the everyday stress of the usual workplace. The stunning views, scenery and peaceful surroundings will inspire new ideas and creativity.
- Hosting yoga retreats and meditation sessions in large rooms with views of the river and over a hundred acres for meditative walks.
- Writer’s workshops giving writers the privacy of rustic cabins to work in during the day then providing opportunities for sharing ideas and feedback with others by the fireplace in the evenings.
- Giving artists inspiration by which to create as the mountains, red rock cliffs, meadows, hay fields, orchards and stands of cottonwood and pine trees are all here. Artists can then view each other’s works or attend classes in Fremont Hall or the Orchard House.
