The personal safety and security of students, staff and visitors, and the protection of property are high priorities at Central Wyoming College. Therefore, we encourage students, staff, and the public to report incidents to our department.
Campus Safety has implemented an emergency alert system and students are encouraged to sign up for the notifications by logging on to MyCentral and clicking on the icon in the upper left hand corner.
CWC's Department of Student Life and Campus Safety is located in the Administration Building room AW 112. Campus Safety can be contacted by calling 1-307-855-2143. The department consists of a director, three college interns and nights are covered by Off Duty RPD Officers that are employed by the college.
Campus security personnel are not sworn peace officers and cannot enforce city, state or federal laws. However, staff are equipped with cell phones and two-way radios for communication with local law enforcement.
The department maintains a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies that have jurisdiction on and around our main campus and our alternate sites.
