Students and Alumni

Students and Alumni may search for jobs in several ways:

Off-campus:

  • Register online at www.collegecentral.com. You will receive automatic approval as a CWC student or alumni and will then be able to upload your resume. Employers may then search your resume for possible placement.

  • Check the job boards located in the Dobler Center and the first hallway of the Classroom Wing.

On-campus:

  • You can stop by the Human Resources Office located in the Administration Suite, AW 100 to get instructions on applying for on campus student employment or you can be directed to the instructions.

  • Each semester there are numerous jobs available to students on campus. Jobs are usually available in almost every area of the campus and every effort will be made to place you in your area of interest or where your skills will be best utilized.

  • All students will receive $7.75/hour for the first 450 hours worked. After working 450 hours in the same department, students will receive $8.25 per hour.

  • Many students may be eligible for Federal Work Study. This is determined by the Financial Aid Office and the money allocated to you will be used to pay your salary.

  • Many departments also have institutional funds available for student employment.
