Who Qualifies?: New and returning students enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours and less than 12 credit hours.

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

 

  1. Must complete an on-line Scholarship Application 
  2. High School or college transcripts with cumulative 3.0 GPA or ACT of 21
  3. Open to Full-time and part-time students
  4. Majoring in biological or physical sciences (including pre-nursing, pre-medicine and pre-veterinary sciences
  5. Preference given to single parents, returning or adult students

 

Renewal Requirements:

  1. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3. 0 GPA with a minimum of 6 credit hours earned each semester.

  2. Majoring in Equine Studies
  3. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
  4. Full- or Part-time students are eligible
Scholarship recipients shall be selected by the Equine Studies Scholarship Committee in coordination with the Central Wyoming College Office of Student Financial Aid. The annual scholarship award(s) will be disbursed one-half for Fall semester and one-half for Spring semester to one or more students enrolled at Central Wyoming College. The number of scholarships and the amount of the award is variable and will be determined annually.
