Steps to Admission

Getting Started at Central Wyoming College is easy -- just follow these Seven STEPS:

Step 1: Apply
An online application must be completed by all NEW students. If you took a CWC dual enrollment course in high school, you can skip this step.

Step 2: Financial Aid
Many students qualify for financial assistance or scholarships. Visit the Financial Aid section of this website.

Step 3: Assessment
Your reading, English and mathematics skills for course success need to be evaluated prior to advisement and registration, or have current ACT or SAT scores sent to CWC.

Step 4: Advising
If you are attending CWC for the first time, you are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Walk-in advising is available or you are welcome to schedule a specific time.

Step 5: Registration Submit your registration to the Registration & Records Office, first making sure that the Enrollment form is correct and complete with your Program of Study, your advisor's signature, and your signature. Current and returning students can register on-line by logging in to myCentral.

Step 6: Payment Visit the Cashier's office to pay or file a payment plan for tuition and fees. Credit card payments can be made on-line by clicking on WebAdvisor, then following the instructions for Students.
