Part-time or full-time enrollment

Take one class or a full load of 12 credits or more; it's up to you. A majority of our students attend part-time. In most degree programs, scheduling of classes is set so that you can get the classes you need whether you plan to graduate (or transfer) in two, three, or four years.

Your first class could be free

If you've been out of school or college for more than a year, you can earn $50 per credit for your first class (up to five credits). Go to the First Class Stipend page for more details.

Support your need to succeed

Free tutoring provides the help you need in mathematics, writing, reading, study skills, test preparation, plus other assistance. Stop by the Student Success Center for details.

In need of a refresher?
If you've been out of school for awhile, you may want to meet with our Adult Basic Education staff to prepare for your college coursework. They have a variety of refresher courses for you.

Workforce Training
CWC's Department of Workforce and Community Education offers an assortment of short training programs to prepare you for particular careers. Some of the training is available free of charge depending on the applicant's income level.
