RJTC is Bellwether Finalist
The Rural Justice Training Center was a finalist for the 2012 Bellwether Awards which
recognizes outstanding and innovative programs and practices that are successfully leading community colleges into the future.
The Bellwether Awards are an integral part of the Community College Futures Assembly, established in 1995. The Assembly is sponsored by the Institute of Higher Education at the University of Florida and focuses on cutting-edge, trend-setting programs that other colleges might find worthy of replicating.
Staff members Jeff Hosking, left, and Eric Heiser gave a demonstration of the RJTC's Fire Arms Training Simulator (FATS) at the January 2012 conference in Orlando, Fla.
The Bellwether Awards are given annually in three categories and the RJTC was recognized for Workforce Development.
