COMPASS tests are free for applicants and students the first time. The public and students wishing to do any additional COMPASS testing (retakes or another section) must pay $10 per test session. Students are allowed three retakes of each Compass test (reading, math, writing) each semester. CWC charges $15 to administer a CLEP test and CLEP charges $80, for a total of $95.
Work Keys testing is offered for the Wyoming Career Readiness Certificate. The cost for the three CRC tests is $50. Information technology (Microsoft, CISCO, etc.) certification exam costs vary by vendor. CWC does not charge any additional fees to administer these tests. Students taking online classes through out of state institutions must pay $15 to have a test proctored at CWC. When requested, CWC will invoice the other institution.
Certiport certification exams not associated with a CWC class will cost $15 plus the cost of the exam.
