Campus Safety and Alcohol Awareness

Did you know

  • One third of college students have alcohol disorders;
  • 2.1 million students between the ages of 18 and 24 drove under the influence of alcohol last year;
  • 44 percent of 10,000 college students polled at 119 four-year college admitted to binge drinking in the previous two weeks;
  • Wyoming is first in the nation for drinking alcohol before the age of 13;
  • Alcohol is the #1 drug of choice for young people in Fremont County;
  • Underage alcohol use is more likely to kill young people than all illegal drugs combined.
