Career Counseling A counselor can help students examine goals, interests and values as they relate to the choice of a career. The Strong Interest Inventory, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and the Holland Self-Directed Search are available to enrolled students free of charge. The Choices computerized career guidance program is also available to assist students in completing a self-assessment, gathering current occupational information and conducting college searches. Students are welcome to check these books out. The Career Guidance System is available to students as well. Are you a student or alumni of CWC looking for an off-campus job? There are two ways to look for a job. 1. CollegeCentral.com acts as our official platform for connecting off campus employers with CWC students and alumni. This is a FREE service to students/alumni. Register online at CollegeCentral.com. Chose to register as a current student or an alumni. You will receive automatic approval as a CWC student or alumni and will then be able to upload your resume, search for registered employers, and access a database of over 500,000 employers nationwide. Employers may then search for YOU and possible placement. 2. Check the job boards located in the Dobler Center and the first hallway of the Classroom Wing.
Employers Interested in Registering at CollegeCentral.com Go to CollegeCentral.com and the employer section, for registration, a FREE service for employers. The Career Services Department will review your registration and contact you with a password if you are approved. You may then post a job and review student resumes.
