Campus Safety - Central Wyoming College

The personal safety and security of students, staff and visitors, and the protection of property are high priorities at Central Wyoming College. Therefore, we encourage students, staff, and the public to report incidents to our department.

Campus Safety has implemented an emergency alert system and students are encouraged to sign up

for the notifications by logging on to MyCentral and clicking on the icon in the upper left hand corner.

CWC's Department of Student Life and Campus Safety is located in the Student Center, room SC106.

We can be contacted by calling 1-307-855-2143. The department consists of a Director and two security officers, covering 96 various hours per week. Campus security personnel are not sworn peace officers

and cannot enforce city, state or federal laws. However, staff are equipped with cell phones and two-way radios for communication with local law enforcement.

The department maintains a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies that have

jurisdiction on and around our main campus and our alternate sites.

If you are witnessing a crime that is being committed RIGHT NOW, immediately

contact the RPD at 307-856-4891 or call 911.
