Why did you choose Central Wyoming College?
I have family from Rock Springs so it was a school close to home and family without living at home. When I came on my visit, I loved the small town aspect and that Riverton was so close knit and so supportive of athletics. I’ve never played a regular season game in front of crowds like this. They’re so good and supportive; I love it. It really helps us gain momentum in our games.
How has your experience been at CWC?
Central has been such a learning experience. Living in a place where I know no one and nothing about to loving it. I’ve gained a lot of friends here that will be with me the rest of my life. CWC has provided so many opportunities to learning more about the world and me.
What has been your greatest memory here?
My great memory here is mostly the volleyball ones. I loved getting close to this boys’ and girls’ basketball team. One week we had a huge water fight against the boys’ basketball team. It was so much fun. That’s one of my favorite moments. Another one that I liked is one night we played Fugitive as a big group and my friend cut her head open on barb wire. It was the funniest! I enjoy going on the trips the school puts on for us. For example, the Lagoon Trip was a blast and it made me closer to people that I normally wouldn’t have interacted with. CWC has been a great time in my life.
