Lady Rustlers back on track with conference win

Riverton, WY - The Central Wyoming College women’s volleyball team got back to their winning ways with a three game sweep of conference foe Laramie County Community College. 25 – 22, 27 – 25 and 25-23 Friday night.

Para, Brazil sophomore Flavia Araujo led CWC with 14 kills.  Gillette  freshman Jess Foy led the Lady Rustlers in digs with 14 and Evanston sophomore Abigail Ehlers led the team in assists with 29.

“I’m very proud of our ladies tonight.  We started a little slow in game two and dug ourselves a little hole.  But we showed a lot of heart tonight and came back to get the win.  It’s nice to be back on the winning side again and we have another big game tomorrow afternoon,”  Coach Tiffany Stauffenberg concluded.
