Rustlers post another victory, then head for Sheridan

 

Riverton, WY - The 13th nationally ranked CWC volleyball team handed Northwest College their second loss in sub-region play last night in Rustler Gym.  
 

“This was some great volleyball between two very good teams tonight,” commented head coach Tiffany Stauffenberg following the match.  “It was an important match for us since Northwest was coming into the night with only one loss.”
 

“I was very pleased with the overall effort of everyone,” lauded Stauffenberg on individual performances.

 

Flavia Araujo led the three players in double digit kills with 14.  Kaitlyn Eaton had 13 and Ana Tenorio had 12.  Samantha Unruh lead with 5 blocks followed by Tenorio with 4, and Eaton with 3.  Abigail Ehlers dished out 41 assists, while Jess Foy had 16 digs followed by Eaton with 15.

 

The Rustlers are on the road today for a match against Sheridan College.  The match will be webcast through Sheridan College’s website.

 

Only two games remain in the regular season after tonight.  Next Tuesday, the Rustlers travel to Rock Springs to take on Western Wyoming Community
