Lady Rustlers fall to #4 ranked Lady Mustangs

 

Rock Springs, WY – The Central Wyoming College Women’s Volleyball team lost in three games to Western Wyoming Community College, 17-26, 19-25, and 19-25.  The Lady Rustlers now have a record of 16- 8 overall and 5-2 in conference play.


The Lady Rustlers were once again led by Brazilian sophomore Leticia Guimaraes and reigning NJCAA player of the week in kills with 12. Hawaiian sophomore Jahndy Muliagatele-Marinas had eight digs and 2 blocks, while Rawlins sophomore Kelli Mann had 23 assists.


“We just we not able to get over the hump in this match. At times we were able to play well and others we just could not get it together,” Coach Tiffany Stauffenberg said.


Central Wyoming College travels next weekend to Cheyenne play Laramie County Community College on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. and Eastern Wyoming College on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Torrington at 3 p.m
