Rustler post first conference loss to Casper

Casper, WY - (September 27)  The Central Wyoming Women’s Volleyball lost to the Lady T-Birds of Casper College in three games Tuesday night: 11–25, 22–25, and 20–25. This was CWC's first conference loss of the season, bringing their overall record  to 16–7 and 5–1 in conference play. Brazilian sophomore, Leticia Guimaraes again led the way for the Lady Rustlers with 13 kills, seven blocks. Rawlins sophomore Kelli Mann led the Lady Rustlers in assists with 21.

“Tonight we just dug too big of a hole in game one. We were flat and just weren’t able to get going. Game two we had our chances and let game three get away.  We now need to get back to practice and get doing the things that have made us successful all season long,” Coach Tiffany Stauffenberg said.

CWC travels to Western Wyoming Community College Friday, Sept. 30 to take on the Lady Mustangs.  The match begins 7 p.m.
