Glendive, MT –(September 23) The Central Wyoming College Women’s Volleyball team defeated the University of Great Falls in four games with scores of 25 – 15, 23 – 25, 25 – 12, and 25 – 15. With the victory the Lady Rustlers now have a record of 14 – 6.
Leading the Rustlers was Leticia Guimaraes with 21 kills and Rock Springs sophomore Courtney Patterson had 17 kills. Sophomore Kelli Mann had 42 assists.
“We started out well in game one. The team did a great job passing, but in game two we had some miscues. It was nice though to regroup in game three and just dominate in game four,” Coach Tiffany Stauffenberg said. The Lady Rustlers will now take on Dawson Community College again in the morning. This game will be another conference counting match. CWC looks to continue to be in 1st place in the conference after the match.
