Central drops non-conference game in OT
Riverton, WY (February 12)– The Central Wyoming College women’s basketball team lost at home today to the Air Force Prep in overtime. The Air Force Prep Huskies won 62-55. With the loss the Lady Rustlers record now stands at 11–13 on the year.
Rock Springs sophomore Courtney Patterson was the only Lady Rustler in double figures today, leading the team with 21 points. Spanish Fork, UT sophomore Brynlie Nielsen led the team in rebounding with 15, Preston, ID freshman Elise Keller had 9 rebounds also for the Lady Rustlers.
“Our Ladies gave a good effort today; we just were not able to get that last stop at the end of regulation. Then the momentum changed and we could not get back on top," Coach Serol Stauffenberg commented.
The Lady Rustlers travel to Miles City Community College on Thursday, Feb. 16, for a 5:30 p.m. game, which can be viewed over the internet on Miles City Community College’s web site.
