CWC Rustler Rodeo Women’s Team Coach

    Lynn Wiebe Smith, former Central Wyoming College rodeo athlete, helps with the instruction of the women’s team. She won an amazing three National Intercollegiate Rodeo Championships while competing for CWC in 1998.
    Lynn is a four-time CNFR qualifier and a two-time CRMR Goat Tying and All Around Champion.  In 1998, Lynn was the National Intercollegiate Champion Breakaway Roper, Goat Tying and All Around Cowgirl.
    As the Rustler Women’s coach, Lynn has won several CRMR championships in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005, and her team came in third at the 2004 CNFR. In spring 2007 and 2008, her team was the CRMR runner up.

CWC Rustler Rodeo Men’s Team Coach

    Rick Smith began coaching for CWC in 1995. Rick is a six-time NFR Saddle Bronc qualifier and has a tremendous background and knowledge of the sport of rodeo. He has coached the Rustler Rodeo Team to five national intercollegiate championships, two runner-up national intercollegiate championships, and three first runner-up national intercollegiate championships.  
    His Rustler Rodeo Men’s Team was also the CRMR champion in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2009. At the CNFR in 2004 the Rustlers placed fourth and moved up to third in 2005.

    His Rustler Rodeo Men’s Team was also the CRMR champion in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2009. At the CNFR in 2004 the Rustlers placed fourth and moved up to third in 2005.
