Defensive moves down home stretch keep Central on top


(Jan. 30) The Rustlers won a squeaker in Rustler Gym by outperforming a determined team from Northwest College. Central had an 11 point lead at the half only to see it erased in the second period. With four minutes to go, the Trappers tied the game at 52. With some big defensive moves and aggressive rebounds, Central ended up with the W 63-56. The Rustlers were led by Armani Flannigan’s 18 points and 11 rebounds and Tanner Newbold’s 12 points.
