Central has conference opening squeaker


(Dec. 5-Powell, WY) Central Wyoming College eked out a victory in its first conference match up against Northwest College. On the Trappers’ home court, the Rustlers had to overcome Northwest’s early 15 point lead. CWC came out in the second half with an 8-0 run to pull within 7 and finally took the lead for good with two minutes left to play. Leading the Rustlers was Davion Pearson with 23 points, with Armani Flannigan and Paris Burns each adding 11.
