Gillette downs Rustlers in last home game

 

(Feb. 16) With the Rustlers looking for one more win to break the school record, Gillette College pulled off the victory 67-56. The Rustlers honored six sophomores on Saturday night, noteworthy as being "the players with the most wins to ever play at Central Wyoming," said Coach Shelby Lindley. Leading the Rustlers were Armani Flannigan (16 points, 6 rebounds) and Tanner Newbold (15 points, 5 rebounds). The Rustlers have two road games this week and two more opportunities to break the school record. The Rustlers travel to Dawson on Wednesday and Little Big Horn on Thursday.

Points: Flannigan 16; Newbold 15; Beaty 7; Hudson 6; Thomas 4; Phouthavong 2; Burns 2; Tademy 2; Pearson 2.

Rebounds: Flannigan 6; Newbold 5; Tademy 4; Pearson 3; Burns 3; Beaty 2; Wiggins 2; Hudson; Thomas.

Assists: Pearson 6; Flannigan 3; Thomas 2; Burns; Newbold.
