Rustlers lose one, win one at Miles City tournament

 

(Dec. 1) The Rustlers were sluggish against Williston State College at the Miles City (Montana) College Tournament and suffered their first loss 58-72. It was a  poor shooting night for the Rustlers and were down 10 points at the half. The team came back strong after the break and shaved Williston’s lead to 2 points. With some missed free throws and turnovers the North Dakota team took control. The Rustlers were led by Armani Flannigan’s 18 points and 12 rebounds.
 
The Rustlers shook off the loss and were ready to take on Jamestown College JV in the tournament’s second game. CWC had a 45-27 halftime lead and would not let up. They would go on to win the game 87-61. The Rustlers were led by Armani Flannigan’s 21 points and 11 rebounds and Davion Pearson’s 11 points and 5 rebounds.
