Central fights to stay in first, beats Western

 

(Feb. 6) Looking to stay in first place in Region IX, the Rustlers defeated Western Wyoming Community College on the Mustangs’ home court by a score of 69-61. The Rustlers started out quickly and went into the locker room with a three-point lead at the half and distanced themselves at the ending buzzer. Central’s leading scorer was Armani Flannigan, who put in 19 points and added six rebounds. Austin Hudson scored 12 points and 4 rebounds.
