Hotel and Restaurant Management
If you imagine working in the hospitality, hotel or restaurant industry, the CWC Hotel and Restaurant program is a great place to begin.
With more than 4,000 hotel rooms, over 100 restaurants and many art galleries, Jackson Hole has truly become America's greatest tourist destination. Blessed with two high seasons with the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks during the summer and Jackson Hole Mountain Ski Resort during the winter, Jackson Hole offers the finest hospitality experience and serves as a great learning laboratory for Central Wyoming College's Hotel and Restaurant Management Program.
Students in the program are exposed to the breadth of the hospitality services while presented with an opportunity to specialize in the area of hotel and restaurant management.
Associate of Applied Science
In this two-year program, you will develop the essential skills in hotel and restaurant management. Students develop proficiency in "front and back of the house" for the hotel industry, as well as learning sales and marketing, accounting, property management systems, facilities management, menu development, food safety and written communications. Restaurant management, food and beverage control are also part of the curriculum.
We are also offering practical experience in internships in five star and five diamond resorts in Jackson Hole and Teton Village.
And if you're interested in completing advanced degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management, CWC has articulation agreements with the Johnson and Wales in Denver, Colo., and Conrad N. Hilton College School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston.

This two semester certificate program prepares students to learn lodging management within the hospitality industry with emphases on orientation and advanced instruction in front of the house food service and front office operations. It also includes basic food and beverage management as this is a central profit center for property management.
The CWC Jackson campus provides Hotel and Restaurant Management students with state-of-the-art facilities to include the five-diamond Four Season Resort and the famous Couloir Restaurant at Teton Village. Lecture halls and computer labs are located in the new Center for the Arts in downtown Jackson.
Our faculty is made up of hotel executives and chefs with impressive achievements in hotel and restaurant management and in their field of expertise. You will learn from instructors certified by American Hotel and Lodging Association's Educational Institute; and graduates from Cornell, Purdue and Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant schools.
