Classic car raffle supports Foundation scholarship fund

The Central Wyoming College Foundation is selling chances on a classic 1964 T-Bird Landau Coupe.

Donated by college supporters Ken and Darlene Hostetter, the car is Chantilly beige with a power driver’s seat, power windows, 390 V-8 engine and a swing-away steering column.

All the proceeds from the $20 raffle tickets go to the general CWC general scholarship fund.

The tickets are available from the CWC Foundation office, located at 2725 W. Main (directly across from the CWC campus), at summer car shows in Riverton, Jackson, Lander and Thermopolis.

Tickets may be purchased online.

The winner of the car is announced at Oktoberfest, the annual CWC Foundation fundraiser scheduled for the Holiday Inn in Riverton on October 10. Tickets for Oktoberfest may be purchased online, too.
