VOLLEYBALL TEAM WEARS PINK FOR CANCER AWARENESS

Central Wyoming College Women’s Volleyball teams have a host of activities next week as they take on Northwest College, Tuesday, October 11 and Sheridan College on Thursday, October 13, both at 7 p.m.

At the Tuesday October 11 match against Northwest College, the CWC Alumni Association is passing out over 300 orange and black bandanas as well as handing out alumni information. There will also be prizes given away between games two and three during the match.

It’s “Dig Pink Night” at the October 13 match against Sheridan College. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the match, which all proceeds benefiting a local cancer patient. “This match is in honor of all survivors of cancer, those that have lost a loved one to cancer, and those fighting the battle today,” Coach Tiffany Stauffenberg said.

Come out and support the Rustlers in their matches as well as others throughout the community. Ticket prices are $3 for adults and $2 for students. Remember Booster Club members, you get in free and are invited into the McDonald’s Booster Room.

The Lady Rustlers are currently in 16 – 8 on the year, 5 – 2 in conference play and sitting in third place. Cheer them on because they are just a game out of second and two games out of first.
