Ken Colovich
Ken Colovich is the director for the Central Wyoming College Sinks Canyon Center as well as the CWC Lander Center.

"I feel that I have been given a wonderful opportunity to help the CWC Sinks Canyon Center grow into a valuable outdoor education facility. This includes providing learning accommodations for the CWC outdoor education program, NOLS wilderness emergency medical technology courses and K-12 outdoor learning programs," he said. Colovich's job was expanded to oversee the college's operation in Lander in 2010.

Colovich is also able to provide community service by making the accommodations available for private and public activities and events such as weddings, non-credit courses and workshops. "Let's not forget the miles of groomed hiking trails for the public to enjoy," he said. "It's simple, I have a great job!"

Before joining the staff at CWC, Ken worked 10 years as a teacher, student advisor and program department head at the Ogden Weber Applied Technology College in Ogden, Utah. He is on the Lander Little League Baseball Committee and coaches Little League during the summer and Junior Jazz Basketball during the winter.

He is developing a Facilities Maintenance program and will use the Sinks Canyon Center as the lab. Ken was selected as CWC's outstanding professional staff member in 2009-10.
