International Studies

Associate of Arts Degree

Central's new International Studies program utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to provide students with a broad introduction to global issues. Incorporating such disciplines as Anthropology, Political Science, History, Foreign Language, and Homeland Security, students are afforded the flexibility to engage global affairs from a variety of approaches and perspectives.

This program provides a solid foundation to facilitate successful transfer to four year institutions of higher learning, and demonstrates to students the many options for future career paths in the international arena. While originating in the classroom, the International Studies program will motivate and inspire students to take an active role in a rapidly globalizing world.
