Students of the arts learn in one of the region's finest performing and visual arts facilities. Theater and music students have access to state-of-the-art facilities that include audio, lighting, and special effects equipment in the theater. The Arts Center also houses a scene shop, dressing and make-up rooms, classrooms, recording studio, art gallery, and a dance studio/black box theater for intimate theater productions. CWC has an additional performance space in the “Little Theatre,” located in the Student Center.
The Central Wyoming College Theater Department invites you to become part of our two-year program theater that gives first and second-year students practical experience on stage or in the scene and costume shops.
The Central Wyoming College Music Department invites you to join in a dynamic quality program, consisting of a two-year curriculum that leads to an Associate of Arts degree.
The Art program at CWC is designed to let the student develop a creative attitude toward presenting and interpreting art forms. Fundamentals are provided through the investigation of various concepts, projects, materials, and techniques in both the traditional and the contemporary. Course work is directed at providing knowledge, interest, and understanding of art as a primary form of visual communication.
