Central Wyoming College has two new Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Environment, Health and Safety, one focusing on the environment and the other on health and safety.

Environment, Health and Safety - Environmental Technician

The Associate of Applied Science degree in Environment, Health and Safety is designed for students interested in the environmental, safety, technical and compliance fields within the energy industry.

The general education requirements are designed to encourage students to develop critical and creative thinking, computation, communication and technology skills. The program requirements of the Environmental Technician provide students with a general understanding of biology, chemistry, geology and ecology related to the environment and the energy industry in addition to state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Students will also develop skills in testing, mapping, safety and compliance.
