Options for auto technology and welding
There are several options available to the student who is interested in programs that will take you directly to the workplace in automotive technology and welding.
The welding program is designed to provide the graduate with an entry-level background in the different aspects of welding. The student will receive hands-on skill building in welding processes. The student has a choice of earning a credential, certificate or an Associate of Applied Science degree.
The Credential program features 14-15 credits of welding courses along with completion of the Freshman Seminar course. The Certificate program features a concentrated, complete welding program consisting of oxyacetylene, arc, MIG, GTAW, and pipe weld-ing. The AAS program features a complete welding curriculum with emphasis in welding inspection, business management and physics.

The AAS degree in Automotive Technology is designed for students who have minimal experience and knowledge of automotive technology.

Automotive Technology Option: Automotive Technology is a field of study in which students are taught diagnostic techniques, service, and repair of automobiles and pickup trucks.

Power Sports Option: The Power Sports option provides the students with entry level knowledge of the motorcycle, ATV, and snowmobile repair business.

Parts Specialist Option: The Parts Specialist option provides the students with a unique opportunity to acquire a working knowledge of the replacement parts industry.
