CWC nursing graduates have a high success rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX®-RN). The average pass rate over the past 27 years is 94 percent. The Wyoming State Board of Nursing determines eligibility to take the NCLEX and is responsible for the oversight of nursing practice and education in the state of Wyoming.
In accordance with the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, Title 33, Chapter 21, 33-21-146, the Board may refuse to issue a license upon proof that the person is found guilty of a misdemeanor or felony; or who is unfit to practice nursing by reason of negligence, habits, or other causes. All questions regarding licensure should be directed to the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.
