Steps to Success
Admissions - Applying for admissions is your first step as a new student. Applications may be submitted online or by downloading and printing our pdf version.
- Financial Aid - If Financial Aid is desired, complete the Financial Aid Application and have a copy of GED, official high school transcript, or college transcripts mailed to Records & Research.
- Placement Testing -Students pursuing a degree or certificate or taking math or English classes will need to take CWC's COMPASS test prior to advisement and registration or have current ACT or SAT scores sent to CWC.
- Advising - If you are attending CWC for the first time, you are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Walk-in advising is available or you are welcome to schedule a specific time.
Registration - Submit their registration to the Records and Research Office, first making sure that the Registration form is correct and complete with their Program of Study, their advisor's signature, and their signature. Current and returning students can register on-line at www.cwc.edu, by logging into WebAdvisor.
- Payment - Visit the Cashier's office to pay or file a payment plan for tuition and fees. Credit card payments can be made on-line via the CWC Home Page at www.cwc.edu, by clicking on WebAdvisor, then following the instructions for Students.
- Student ID Card - Get your CWC picture ID card in the Mailroom, located in the Student Center. A copy of the cash receipt or payment plan is required. Dates and hours to get IDs will be posted.
