Residence Hall

The most inexpensive way for a single student to live on campus, the Residence Hall is a 48-bed co-ed complex designed with a key-less entry system into the building and divided into four areas.

  • Each area houses 12 students, two students per bedroom
  • There is a large central bathroom for every 12 students
  • Central lounge for students to watch television, talk, relax and study.
  • Laundry facilities and open computer stations
  • Individual access to LAN, cable TV, telephone

Each bedroom is furnished with beds, end table and built-in closet/dresser/desk, and offers you access to the local area network, as well as cable TV and telephone. Cable TV and utilities are included in rental payments. Telephone service is the only utility that is not covered and is available through the college but is the responsibility of the tenants.

Freshman students who live on campus are required to live in either the Residence Hall or Mote Hall as space permits.

Kitchenette facilities in the Residence Hall allow residents to participate in the Declining Balance Full Meal Plan, which gives students the flexibility to budget their semester food purchases in the Food Court.The Food Court serves three meals on weekdays and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Students may also use their Declining Balance Full Meal Plan to purchase snacks and beverages during Food Court hours. The Food Court is closed over some college holidays and college vacations. All Food Court debits must be used within a semester or they will be forfeited.

Resident Assistants (RAs) who assist the Housing Manager in matters of administration, activities, discipline and personal help, supervise the complex.

Mote Hall

bal-mote2Mote Hall is a fully ADA accessible, suite-style, 48-bed co-ed complex divided into four areas. Each area houses 12 students, and provides more privacy. There is:

  • one student per bedroom
  • bathroom for every three residents
  • each bedroom has a sink
  • furnished central day room provides a place for students in each area to watch television, talk, relax and study.

With state of the art technology, Mote Hall provides key-less entry to the building itself, central laundry facilities and a computer lab within the complex. Each bedroom is also wired to allow access to the local area network by your own computer, as well as cable TV and telephone, and is furnished with a bed, desk, chair and dresser and nightstand dresser.

Cable TV and utilities are included in rental payments. Telephone service is the only utility that is not covered and is available through the College but is the responsibility of the tenants.

Freshman students who live on campus are required to live in Mote Hall or the Residence Hall as space permits, but sophomores are also allowed to live here.

East and West Apartments

Student apartments consist of two separate apartment buildings, East and West Apartments.

One-bedroom apartments hold a maximum of two single students; two-bedroom apartments hold a maximum of four single students, each responsible for their own rental payments. ADA accessible apartments are available on a space available basis.

The one- and two-bedroom apartments are furnished and include living, dining and kitchen areas, with central laundry facilities. Apartments are carpeted. Cable TV, high speed DSL connectivity through the College and utilities are included in the rent. Telephone service is is the only utility that is not covered and is available through Qwest in West Apartments and through the college in the East Apartments, and is the responsibility of the tenants.

Apartment residents must participate in an Apartment Meal Plan, giving those students the convenience of budgeting occasional meals and snacks from the Food Court. All Food Court debits must be used within a semester or they will be forfeited.

Food Service

Residents living in Residence Hall and Mote Hall are required to purchase the full meal plan. Residents living in the apartments are put on a apartment meal plan, and can purchase a full meal plan if they like.
