Fremont County High School Graduate Stipend

Amount: $500 with no Hathaway eligibility
$400 with Hathaway eligibility

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Must complete an on-line Admissions Application
2. Submit a six or seven semester high school transcript with cumulative GPA 
3. Awarded to every current year Fremont County High School graduate with a 2.75 to 2.99 cumulative high school GPA
4. Enroll for a minimum of six (6) credit hours
5. Two year award if student earns a minimum of six credit hours each semester with a minimum 2.0 GPA earned each semester

Soccer Stipend

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
2. Interview with soccer coach
3. Soccer Club team status, which requires regular participation at practice and games (end of August through October)
4. Participation in on and off-season training and workouts
5. Players and stipend recipients must adhere to all CWC codes of conduct, including prohibition of alcohol on campus and at any CWC events or trips.
6. CWC athletes are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that positively represents CWC.
7. CWC athletes are also expected to abide by the rules of the community; any legal infringements, even off campus, may result in dismissal from the team.

Renewal Requirements:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
2. 12 credit hours completed for each semester for full-time stipend. Partial amounts may be awarded for completion of fewer credits
3. Participation in on and off-season training, including resistance training and running
4. Participation if off-season intramural indoor and outdoor soccer
5. Players and stipend recipients must adhere to all CWC codes of conduct as listed in the CWC student handbook.

Wyoming National Guard Scholarship

Requirements for initial consideration:

This Fund shall be used to provide educational assistance to current active Wyoming National Guard members enrolled as credit students at CWC under the following conditions:

1. The annual distribution will be administered by the CWC Office of Financial Aid, who is authorized to divide it appropriately among eligible applicants to pay for educational expenses which may include tuition, books, fees, etc.
2. Applicants must complete the appropriate forms available from the Financial Aid Office

Beckie Creek Wiley Scholarship

Heather Lynn Paul Memorial Scholarship

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Be admitted to the CWC Jackson Nursing program
2. Submit a letter that addresses the applicant's:
   • Financial need
   • Commitment to helping people
   • Community service/involvement
3. Preference will be given a Jackson applicant who has been a resident of Jackson Hole five or more years.
4. The award is available to a first-year student in the program.  If a student maintains his or her grade point average at the equivalent of a B and is otherwise eligible to remain in the program, they are given a preference to countinue the award in their second year.

L. Pearl Moran Nursing Scholarship

Ronnie Alexander Memorial Scholarship

4. Full- or Part-time students are eligible

Scholarship recipients shall be selected by the Equine Studies Scholarship Committee in coordination with the Central Wyoming College Office of Student Financial Aid. The annual scholarship award(s) will be disbursed one-half for Fall semester and one-half for Spring semester to one or more students enrolled at Central Wyoming College. The number of scholarships and the amount of the award is variable and will be determined annually.

Ruth Foster Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Art Scholarship

1. Agree to enroll as Fine Arts major
2. Minimum cumulative 2.5 (C+) grade point average.
3. Portfolio reviewed by Art Faculty

Renewal Requirements:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 (C+) grade point average.
2. Achieve a 3.0 (B) in all Fine Arts courses.
3. Enroll in at least one three-credit Fine Arts on-campus course per semester/six credits an academic year.
4. Participate in Great Art Group (must attend all meetings; three unexcused absences allowed from meetings/events each semester)
5. Must attend 75 percent of Art Department events. At the beginning of each semester, a calendar of events will be provided. Students are responsible for getting Art Department faculty signatures at each event and turning in cards at end of semester.
6. Art Department faculty review students at the end of fall semester for spring scholarships. Student found not adhering to the maintenance requirements will have scholarship reduced or cancelled.

Helen Lee Memorial Art Scholarship

Music Scholarship

Riverton Artists Guild Scholarship
