Art Scholarship

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

1. Agree to enroll as Fine Arts major
2. Minimum cumulative 2.5 (C+) grade point average.
3. Portfolio reviewed by Art Faculty

Renewal Requirements:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 (C+) grade point average.
2. Achieve a 3.0 (B) in all Fine Arts courses.
3. Enroll in at least one three-credit Fine Arts on-campus course per semester/six credits an academic year.
4. Participate in Great Art Group (must attend all meetings; three unexcused absences allowed from meetings/events each semester)
5. Must attend 75 percent of Art Department events. At the beginning of each semester, a calendar of events will be provided. Students are responsible for getting Art Department faculty signatures at each event and turning in cards at end of semester.
6. Art Department faculty review students at the end of fall semester for spring scholarships. Student found not adhering to the maintenance requirements will have scholarship reduced or cancelled.

CWC Student Senate Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. High financial need
2. Full-time student
3. Priority given to students in the following order:

• CWC Student Senate Officer
• CWC Student Senator
• Activity Committee Member
• Any student

George & Margaret Reynolds Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Must complete an on-line Scholarship Application 
2. Must have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher
3. Awarded to a full-time student who is one of the following (listed in the order of preference):

• editor of the student newspaper
• photography editor of the student newspaper
• business manager of the student newspaper
• a student who has a declared program of study within the Fine Arts Division or who actively participates in the music or theater programs.

Helen Lee Memorial Art Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Must complete an on-line Scholarship Application 
2. Part-time student (3 to 11 credit hours) with minimum 2.0 GPA
3. Enrollment in at least one Art course
4. Preference given to senior citizen

L. Pearl Moran Arts Scholarship

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Must complete an on-line Scholarship Application 
2. Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
3. Full-time student in a visual or performing arts program.

Music Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
2. Interview required with appropriate Music faculty
3. Enrollment in ensembles as determined by the Music Department.

Renewal Requirements:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
2. Minimum of 12 credit hours earned each semester for full -time awards, minimum of
3. 6 credit hours earned each semester for part-time awards
   

Radio/TV Broadcasting Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
2. Interview with full-time Electronic Media and Production Operations faculty
3. An interest in broadcasting as career or academic pursuit
4. Spend 3-4 hours a week in some type of assigned work at KCWC-FM. (This is in addition to Lab hours or part-time employment.)
5. Radio/TV majors will be given preference

Riverton Artists Guild Scholarship

Amount: $500

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Must complete an on-line Scholarship Application 
2. Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
3. Art major
4. Part-time student (6 to 11 credit hours)
5. Demonstrated financial need
6. Award money may be divided among several recipients
7. Award may be used for tuition, fees and bookstore purchases only

Rodeo Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration:

1. Fulltime student with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
2. Interview with rodeo coach
3. Participation/excellence in rodeo events

Theatre Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
2. Interview required with appropriate Theatre faculty 
3. Participation in major theater productions and enrollment each semester in theater classes

Renewal Requirements:

1. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
2. Minimum of 12 credit hours earned each semester for full -time awards, minimum of 6 credit hours earned each semester for part-time awards

Volleyball

Amount: Varies

Requirements for initial consideration and renewal:

1. Fulltime student with a minimum 2.0 GPA (3.0 preferred/22 ACT preferred)
2. Interview with volleyball coach/volleyball skills review
3. Participate in fall season and spring ball
4. Meet all NJCAA eligibility requirements.

Renewal Requirements:

1. Maintain 3.0 GPA each semester with at least 12 credit hours earned each semester
2. Meet all NJCAA eligibility requirements .
