Campus Safety/Alcohol Awareness Week
Did you know
- One third of college students have alcohol disorders;
- 2.1 million students between the ages of 18 and 24 drove under the influence of alcohol last year;
- 44 percent of 10,000 college students polled at 119 four-year college admitted to binge drinking in the previous two weeks;
- Wyoming is first in the nation for drinking alcohol before the age of 13;
- Alcohol is the #1 drug of choice for young people in Fremont County;
- Underage alcohol use is more likely to kill young people than all illegal drugs combined.
Events are planned during the week to facilitate campus safety awareness.
