New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is your ticket to a great semester at CWC. Earn academic credit while you learn college survival skills. This is a great way to network, find your way around campus, and make new friendships that last a lifetime. Best of all, when classes start — you're all settled and ready to begin!

The Schedule
- Move in Tuesday, August 19, all day beginning at 8 a.m.
- Register for fall classes if you haven't already!
- Take the Compass exam if you need to.
- Welcome reception on us for you and your family on Tuesday evening.
- New Student Orientation officially begins at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the 20th, and runs through Friday, August 22. Check in at the NSO registration table in the Arts Center Gallery between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Come early as we’re anticipating a record attendance!

How do I sign up for New Student Orientation?
Register online for NSO or contact an advisor to sign up.
Can I bring anybody?
Students are welcome to bring up to two (2) parent/family members on the morning of Wednesday, August 20. Please make sure to include them on your NSO registration form so we can get an accurate count for lunch.
What do I need for New Student Orientation?
Must purchase textbook from CWC Bookstore before the Wednesday afternoon sessions!
