Each delivery method is discussed below.
Traditional Classroom Instruction. The CWC Distance Education and Lifelong Learning Centers offer courses in a variety of geographic areas in the traditional instructional manner. Classes meet at published times in a traditional classroom setting and students are expected to attend class regularly. Instructors are physically present during the scheduled class time.
Telecourses. Telecourses are generally transferable college credit courses and are aired on KCWC-TV two times every week. For students outside the KCWC broadcast area, tapes of the telecourse broadcasts can be leased from RMI Productions by contacting them at 1-800-745-5480 or at http://www.rmimedia.com. Telecourse tapes can also be viewed at the Central Wyoming College campus library, the Lander Center and the Teton Center in Jackson.
Web-based Courses. WebCT is the course management software used by CWC for all web-based courses. As a student involved in web-based distance learning, you will use WebCT to receive course documents, read important course announcements, submit assignments/documents to your instructor, and participate in class/group discussions. We encourage you to visit our WebCT site WebCT.
