Weddings & Reunions
The cathedral-like setting of the cottonwood grove, with views of aspens, apple orchards and the Wind River Mountains has made the Sinks Canyon Center(SCC) a top choice for wedding sites.
The SCC Coordinator can assist you with many of the burdening arrangements that diminish the enjoyment of your event. Weeks before your wedding the SCC coordinator will meet with you to discuss ceremony location, chairs and tables arrangements, linen colors, power, lighting and sound requirements and more.
Equipment Rental Rates
- Chairs - $2.00 each (includes setup and tear down)
- Banquet Tables - $7.00 each (includes setup and tear down)
- Sound System - $40/day (includes wireless microphone, speaker w/PA. Great to enhance voice or to plug in your music box)
- Linen - $4/table
Wedding and Reunion ideas include:
- Local tradition sets many wedding ceremonies in Conduct both ceremony and reception on the grassy lawn next to the river.
- Off-season, hold your event indoors in Fremont Hall.
- Your caterer will appreciate the commercial kitchen while your guests can enjoy self-service in the galley kitchen upstairs in the hall.
- Guests can sleep in our cabins to reduce driving and enjoy the tranquility of the Center.
Capacity:
We can accommodate the following number of overnight guests in our seven rustic cabins:
- Cottonwoods outdoor canopy (30' x 45'): 100 people
- Small cabins: Four bunk beds - up to eight people
- Large cabin: Two futons, two twin beds, two double beds with twin bunk (8 people single occupancy and 12 people double occupancy)
- The log cabins have heat and electricity and are next to a modern ADA-accessible bathhouse for rest room facilities and showers. You can view photos of our facilities and acquire more details by clicking on the "facilities" page.
