Cabin and tent site rentals include the use of the shower house, designated picnic tables, fire pit, free fire wood, portable grills and hiking trails.

The Orchard House - retreat and meet

orchard_house_meeting The Orchard House is perfect for smaller groups of 15 or less to escape from their normal routines and allow fresh thinking on the business at hand. Accommodations include: a full residential kitchen, meeting room with whiteboard and overhead projector, ADA compliant restroom, three bedrooms with two twin beds each, a spacious deck with comfortable furniture, BBQ grill and an inspiring view.

Shower House

The modern ADA-accessible shower house has heated men's and women's facilities. Each facility contains three showers, sinks and stalls. The Sinks Canyon Center staff stocks the shower house with paper toiletries.

* Visitors will need to bring their own personal hygiene products and shower towel.

The bunk beds are great fun for families or the outdoors type of people. We recommend only four adults per cabin for rentals longer than three days.

VIP Cabin Accommodations (ADA-Accessible)

  • Cabin #7 - The main room has two futons, a pine table and four chairs, propane fireplace/heater and lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The private bed room has two double beds with bunks, a three drawer dresser and is heated by an electric heater. A spiral stair case leads to a loft overseeing the main room that is stocked with two twin beds and a two drawer dresser.

* Sheet and blankets are not included in the rental cost for any of the cabins, but may be rented from the Center for an additional charge.

Tent Sites

Six 12' x 12' tent sites are located next to a cottonwood grove and just North of the shower house. The tent sites surround a large common fire pit, which has a fire wood box stocked full of free wood.

Conference and Classroom Facilities

Fremont Hall consists of a main and downstairs level. The main level has a commercial kitchen, dining/meeting room, two restrooms and the coordinator's office. The downstairs consists of a class/meeting, men and women's restrooms, an office space, which includes a desk, phone and copier.

Dining-Meeting Room with Stone Fireplace (Load capacity: 55 people)

This space can be customized to meet your needs for either meeting and/or dining with tables, chairs, couches, and teaching tools like white boards, LCD projector with screen and a TV/VCR/DVD for videos. This room is located just off of the commercial kitchen , which makes it very convienent for catering.

The Center offers either complete electronic privacy, or access to the world.

  • Wireless internet access is available in our Fremont Hall.
  • Small groups can also take advantage of Central Wyoming College’s Interactive Classroom Network in downtown Lander and connect via web-based video to anyone in the world.
  • Sorry, cell phone coverage is spotty at the Center due to the geography.

Wedding and Outdoor Meeting Facility

Enjoy over 100 acres of historic ranch lands during your event.

  • We have three neighbors: two ranches and public land that leads into the Shoshone National Forest and Wilderness Area.
  • Stands of trees and the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River shield the Center’s buildings from road traffic and noise so guests may enjoy complete privacy.
  • Throughout the Center are numerous outdoor picnic and party areas with seating.
  • Nature walks, hiking trails, apple orchard, geology and scenic views abound.
  • Guests enjoy trout fishing in the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River, which runs through the Center (local license required).
  • Our fire pit is designed for campfire talks and star gazing.
  • Should anyone wish to visit civilization, downtown Lander is only five minutes away by car.
