Central Wyoming College and Fremont County high schools have developed exciting dual credit opportunities for motivated Fremont County students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously.

There are many benefits associated with dual enrollment. It allows high school students to progress to their next academic challenge without having to wait until high school graduation. It eases the transition to college by giving students firsthand exposure to the rigors of college-level work.

Dual enrollment also provides a wider range of course options for high school students and enhances their general academic preparedness. These challenges motivate students to take their studies more seriously.

BOCHES will pay the ACT fee for every junior and senior in Fremont County one time. Click for 2006/07 test dates! Most importantly, the program enables students to earn free college credits, shortening their time to degree completion and providing significant savings on the cost of higher education. It also eliminates the need to complete comparable courses at both educational levels.

The program, too, offers college-level vocational courses that enhance employment opportunities. You may download a PDF of the current Student-Parent Handbook. (445 KB)
