Public Information Office
The Central Wyoming College Public Information Office is responsible for the college's advertising, publicity, web content and publications.
Public Information Officer Carolyn Aanestad and Publications Coordinator RoJean Thayer are members of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations and have won multiple Medallion Awards from NCMPR District IV for excellence in feature writing, brochures, viewbooks and more.
In 1996, Aanestad was named Communicator of the Year by NCMPR District IV in Galveston, Texas, and ten years later, Thayer was given the same honor at the district's conference in Austin, Texas.
In addition to the college's schedules of courses, the catalog and all recruitment materials are created by the Public Information Office. The office is also responsible for the content on this website. The PIO writes, designs and publishes a magazine,"Connect" quarterly.
