Campus Safety
The personal safety and security of students, staff and visitors, and the protection of property are high priorities at Central Wyoming College. Therefore, we encourage students, staff, and the public to report incidents to our department.
CWC's Department of Safety and Security is located in the Student Center, room SC106. We can be contacted by calling 1-307-855-2143. The department consists of two security officers, covering 80 various hours per week. Campus security officers are not sworn peace officers and cannot enforce city, state or federal laws. However, officers are equipped with two-way radios for communication with local law enforcement.
The department maintains a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies that have jurisdiction on and around our main campus and our alternate sites.
If you are witnessing a crime that is being committed RIGHT NOW, immediately contact the RPD at 307-856-4891 or call 911.
