Admission to the nursing program is competitive. Each year, 24-32 students will be selected to enter the on campus program in Riverton, and 8-16 students will be accepted to enter the program at a distance site in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The number of admissions will be limited to faculty to student ratios and available clinical practice sites.
Acceptance to the nursing program is not automatic. The nursing admission committee selects applicants for entry into the nursing program in March of each year using the following criteria and point scoring system. Applicants are rank ordered according to their total points. An alternate list is maintained for each cohort in the event an applicant declines their acceptance.
