CWC nursing graduates have a high success rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The average pass rate over the past 24 years is 94%. The Wyoming State Board of Nursing determines eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN and is responsible for the oversight of nursing practice and education in the state of Wyoming. In accordance with the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, Title 33, Chapter 21, 33-21-146, the board may refuse to issue a license upon proof that the person is found guilty of a misdemeanor or felony; or who is unfit to practice nursing by reason of negligence, habits, or other causes.
All questions regarding licensure should be directed to the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.
